About FRAME

The inaugural FRAME was held in Melbourne and surrounds in March 2023.

FRAME was created following three years of consultation and co-design and came to be through the collective will, desire and need of the dance sector, comprising artists, organisations, arts workers, presenters and advocates.

FRAME is shaped through collaboration and collective agreement between a diverse range of artists, organisations and partners.

Our Partners

FRAME is co-led and co-curated by presenting partner organisations and a curatorium of independent dance artists.
